2011 is drawing to close and it's that time of the year where many people reflect on the past year and make resolutions for the new year to come. I personally didn't ponder too much about the past year, although I have started on setting some New Years Resolution for 2012. I am going to do a post on resolutions after I finalized them shortly after the new year but first, I wanted to note my reflections on 2011:
Positive events/experiences/memories:
+discovery of blog world via reading/following and now starting my own
+awesome trip to New Orleans with great friends
+amazing week-long vacation with the boyfriend alone
+learning more about myself and working towards identifying my "passions" (thanks Crsie and Rob!)
+great culinary adventures with Daniel, August, and Amada being the most memorable
+unexpected promotion at work
Negative events/experiences/memories:
-unsuccessful attempt at CFA Level 2
-one of the most sedentary years thus far
-passing of my Grandma's sister/thought of losing loved ones
I'm sure this is not a complete list but these at the things that come to my mind at the moment - will revise as necessary.

New Blog
I must be in a blogging mood today. My friends and I started a separate blog that will focus on our journey to fitness. I really hope this will be a good tool to help us reach our targets. Link is below, enjoy!

Holiday Greetings
Greetings blog world! Long time no see :X I know, I've been very bad about keeping up with this. Although, I do read blogs nearly everyday...
In any case, the holiday season is here and I did quite a bit of shopping the past few weeks and days and wrapping presents was a fun activity I had with Mom...because she helped me wrap everything :) Although it made me realize that I had more gifts for friends than immediate family. Is that acceptable?
I wrote Holiday cards to a few people at my old firm to revive old relationships and to maintain my network. I mainly sent cards to those who came to my mind first and people I worked with directly on engagements:
Jerry
Maclar
Javi
John
Wally
Kathleen
Joe
Lauren
Patrick
I wanted to send cards to a few others but didn't know their employer/address! :(
Happy Holidays and hope this is a time where you continue to count your blessings and appreciate those you love and care dearly about!
